Big B's Blog

A couple of days ago, news were flashed that Big B has had a good comment scribbled on his blog....He writes how justifying is it that One person who shoots a rifle gets 1 crore (Abhinav Bindra) and another person who dies while shooting gets 5 lacs (the Delhi cop).....he is absolutely right and his voice should be boticed by those at the helm of affairs.....but i would like to add one point to his concern that : it more unjustifying that a cop who kills the terrorist is not given a single penny on the contrary he is behing bars right now!!!!!(Vanzara)........this is how our country is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Secular India!!!!!!

I am still wondering about the meaning of word 'secular' in the conteext of our country's politics.
Yesterday churches in Karnataka were vandalised which resulted in a sharp reaction from the chairperson of the UPA. She convened an emergency meeting to review the situatiion. This is fine and is expected from a person of such stature. But, then why didn't she convened the emergency meeting immediately after the serial blasts in the Capital city on 13th Sept. She could have responded to that in the similar way......but then again the question is that India is a secular Country!!!!!!!!!!

Gujarat 'CM' Marching towards Dictatorship!!!!

I wonder how this could happen in a country which is the largest democracy in the world. Recently on the eve of Teachers Day celebrations the honourable Chief Minister (Narendra Modi) of Gujarat compelled the schools of the entire state to watch the live telecast of his speech specifically addressed to the students......the next day News papers gave the heading 'One crore students' watch the CM live!!!!!!
Other part of the story is the CM was to interact live with the students and students could ask questions to him.....but behind the scene....the questionnaire was prepared in advance and the few selected students were directed to ask the given questions.....i fail to understand all this fuss created by Chief Minister, Narendra Modi.
Instead he could have gifted the teachers of the state on 5th of September by declaring the 6th pay commission recommendations.
